CONDUCTING FUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENTS & WRITING INTERVENTION PLANS (Virtual)

* Pre-requisite: You must have previously attended Reducing Challenging Behavior
for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

During this training we will dig deeper into identifying and targeting challenging
behavior. Participants will practice conducting a functional behavior assessment (FBA),
and analyze the data that leads to the development of a behavior intervention plan (BIP).

Topics include:

• Core components of an FBA and BIP
• Tools for data collection
• Data analysis
• Writing SMART goals
• Progress monitoring
