Oklahoma Autism Center

The Oklahoma Autism Center (OAC) is a part of the Child Study Center (CSC) at the OU Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics which brings approximately 50 years of service to Oklahoma with the goal of improving the lives of children with special needs and their families through interdisciplinary services, research and training. The OAC works to build the capacity of local communities to support children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. This is done by providing professional development and engaging in applied research. Professional development activities include in-depth training, technical assistance, modeling and coaching, dissemination of information and maintaining a model demonstration site utilizing scientifically validated techniques.
